Our Services
Primarily covering the North of England, we provide aerial photography, videos and 3D mapping services to assist clients with undertaking condition surveys, roof and guttering inspections, façade and cladding inspections, insurance surveys, land surveying, accident investigations, safety inspections and for general marketing material.
Kestrel Drone's Pilot
All drone operations are carried out by me, Stuart Dennis. I am a qualified and fully insured drone pilot. I have almost 20 years experience in both commercial and residential property and facilities management and surveying, and I am a qualified health and safety practitioner, and glider pilot.
I have previously been directly involved in the management of some of London's most iconic landmarks including Battersea Power Station, Kings Cross and Bloomberg's European headquarters and have extensive experience of the built environment. I also provide surveying services to the insurance industry.
In addition I hold various accreditations with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. I am also a qualified, senior incident investigator.
Why Kestrel Drones?
All inspections are conducted in a professional and safe manner, by a qualified and fully insured pilot. Safety is paramount, and all flights are planned and conducted in accordance with civil aviation regulations, local bylaws and any site specific rules and regulations.
For general inspection work, we employ the use of small drones as this allows us to operate discreetly, in built-up areas and over uninvolved people. It also enables inspections to be carried out at short-notice. We find that these small drones are sufficient for most situations as they are able to provide high-quality images at 48mp resolution, along with 4k video. For more specialist work, alternative drones will be used.
